The Fiabosco is an artistic and educational park, a magical place at the foot of the Maiella where statues of many mysterious characters are carved in stone.
Immersed in the woods, we will travel with our imagination to discover the tales of these incredible creatures.
Starting from Sant'Eufemia a Maiella, a small village in the province of Pescara at the foot of the Maiella, we will reach the spectacular autumnal forest where we will tell stories and myths related to the characters represented by the statues of Fiabosco: the Dragon, the Mandrake, the Nymph Maia, the Witch, the Werewolf, the Serpent, the Prince transformed into a tree.
We will then walk through the meadows and woods of the upper Orta Valley, in the splendid settings between Morrone and Majella.
After a short stretch on asphalt, we will reach the forest, and along an easy path, we will recount the tales and legends of Fiabosco.
With a gentle climb, we will go out of the forest to a panoramic point from where it is possible to admire the Majella with its ridges, Monte Morrone, and the Gran Sasso mountain range.
We are in the heart of the Maiella National Park, an unchallenged realm of wolves, deer, and roe deer that inhabit beech and conifer forests as well as oak and maple trees that, at this time of year, take on warm tones and bright colors, a true spectacle for the visitor!
