Canoeing on the Tirino takes place on the most beautiful river in Abruzzo and costs €15 for adults and €5 for children up to 10 years old.

Immersed in nature, we will have fun paddling along the Tirino River, whose calm waters will lull us and guide us to discover breathtaking views that characterize the entire Tirino Valley.
There is so much history to tell about this corner of paradise, culminating with the story of the discovery of the legendary and mighty statue of the Warrior of Capestrano.
Canoeing on the Tirino is an experience to be lived in complete relaxation and with lots of fun, and it takes place in Bussi sul Tirino, the gateway to the Gran Sasso National Park.
Our canoe technicians, our EXPERT GUIDES, will train you to live a unique, authentic experience in absolute safety.
After the canoe trip, you can taste the local river shrimp, a typical dish of the Tirino Valley, in nearby restaurants.

Can you bring your dog on the canoe?
Your four-legged friend can join you on the canoe. It is important that the dog is accustomed and knows how to stay calm in the canoe. Otherwise, it will wait in a shaded dog area equipped with a water bowl. Only one dog can be on a canoe at a time.
The presence of the dog must be communicated at the time of booking, to allow us better organization, by indicating its presence in the booking form.
Can you bring objects on the canoe?
We advise against bringing any objects (cell phones, backpacks, bags, cameras...) on the canoe. The organization assumes no responsibility for any damage to things or people.
We have a special area where you can leave your belongings, but we advise against leaving valuables there.
Payment will be made on the same day on-site.
In the green area where the canoe activity takes place, there is a special space dedicated to picnics and a fountain with drinking water. Some tables and chairs are provided free of charge by the Majellando staff, but YOU CANNOT RESERVE THE TABLE OR CHAIRS. The equipment in the picnic area (chairs and tables) is for free use and is not managed by the Majellando staff. First come, first served. WE RECOMMEND BRINGING YOUR OWN PICNIC EQUIPMENT.
You can bring all your picnic equipment with you.
